Leaving on a Jet Plane....

...don't know when I'll be back again.

Wow how true are those lyrics. Today is the day. We depart today at some point and arrive in Germany so time tomorrow. I will have limited access to the internet until we get our connections hooked up. I am hoping there is a computer bank and I can write. Say a little prayer the next 48 hours are smooth. The best part is we are moving into the meat of the mission.

Talk to you soon.
Love ya

Ok - since we got this working I will leave a longer message. Can I post pictures to this blog? If not, I will send one to you today that you can post when you get the time.

All are well here in Portage. Grandma Helen will be here tonight for dinner and we will post a blog to all. Tell the other folks connect to this blog to get a google account and post comments. Then we will have her read them when she is here.

I hear YNP folks already have snow! The actually had first snow about a week or so ago. Yikes -- those folks are hardy.

We are all set for the Halloween Parade -- everyone has their costume -- including Grandpap! The parade is this Sunday so I will send pictures. Take care -- Love, Mom

Hello Marcia, this is Grandma Helen. My church group prays for you everyday and I light a candle every Monday at either the Hammer Street church or the Mt. Ave. site. So every Monday a candle burns for you and your safety. I am here at your Mom and Dad's. I had supper with them -- it was very good -- as usual. Your mom gave me some flowers from her garden. I will put them in a small vase when I get home in front of the Infant Jesus. I have a prayer that I say in front of him every day for you. I pray that the year goes fast. I love you and miss you. You were always very special to me -- as are all of my grand and great grandchildren. Love you.
